23rd, Bærum (2-0) at OSI Vikings 2 (0-0), Ekeberg, 2 PM.
1999: Bærum is off to a great start, winning their first two games, although having only 15-16 players. The Vikings 2 has the biggest squad in Norway, counting 50 players and 7 coaches. The Blue Devils also played a practise game (losing 0-28 to Vålerenga Trolls Old Boys), whilst the Vikings 2 hasn't seen opponents outside their own club so far this year.
The Coaches: Blake Miller has previously coached with the National senior team, and he also coached Nidaros Domers back in 1995. He is in his first year with Bærum. Paul Parlett is a brit with coaching experience from his native England. He coached Kolbotn Kodiaks in 1997. The two coaches face each other for the first time as Head Coaches.
Next Week: Both these teams have a
bye-week next weekend.
About Bærum: A suburban area just outside of Oslo, this county can boast of having a generally wealthy population. Thats about it, really.
