June 6th, Bærum Blue Devils (3-0) at Hamar Ruins (1-1), Hamar Stadium, 2 PM.

1999: Bærum is off to their best start ever, winning three in a row and still without a loss in the regular season. Coach Blake Miller and his coaching style seems to fit the Blue Devils very well. Hamar started off with a narrow loss to the Blue Devils, and has since beaten Kolbotn Kodiaks 64-0. This is a crucial game for them.

The Coaches: Blake Miller has previously coached with the National senior team, and he also coached Nidaros Domers back in 1995. He is in his first year with Bærum. Don Jess is in his first year as Head Coach/player of the Ruins. This is his first coaching experience in Europe. The two coaches met a few weeks ago, with Miller and Bærum walking away with a 22-14 victory.

The Series: Two games played previously between these teams, Bærum leads the series 2-0.

Last Week: Bærum had a week off, while the Ruins saw their first win of the season with a 64-0 beating of Kolbotn Kodiaks.

Next Week: The Ruins face OSI Vikings 2 at home in Hamar, while the Blue Devils have another away-game in Kolbotn.

About Bærum: A suburban area just outside of Oslo, this county can boast of having a generally wealthy population. Thats about it, really.

About Hamar: Small city located at the shores of Norways biggest lake, Mjøsa. Known for the ruins of an old cathedral, from which the Ruins have their name. Also hosted some of the olympic events during the 1994 Lillehammer olympics.

TNFJ Tip: The Ruins by 6 (this wasn't an easy choice, folks).
