Jarle Magnus Henriksen founded TNFJ in early September 1998. The site soon became a household name within Norwegian football, and later throughout the European football scene as well. Henriksen is also a coach, and former secretary of the Norwegian American Football Federation (NoAFF). A former Sandnes Oilers and Otra Raiders player, J.M Henriksen stopped playing as his coaching career gained focus.

Henriksen has been coaching since 1997, beginning his career as the HC of the Sandnes Oilers junior program, taking the team to the championship game in 1997 (runner-up) and 1998 (champions) in his two years there. After moving to Oslo he became involved in the Oslo Vikings, and was an assistant with the senior team until he moved back to Sandnes. He was also the HC of the 1999 junior Vikings.
In 1998 Henriksen joined the National junior team as an assistant, taking over the head coaching reigns from Val Gunn in 1999. Henriksen was the HC for Norway U-19 until 2001. Outside of football he has studied at the University of Oslo, taking classes in Intellectual History and Comparative Religion. Henriksen recently finished his studies in Oslo and is now studying Sociology at the College of Stavanger.
